4. Will you work with my insurance company?
Yes. Our team has experience working with insurance claims and will assist you throughout the process.

5. Do I need to be home during the inspection?
Not necessarily. In many cases we can perform the inspection and provide a report without you needing to be home.

6. What types of roofing do you install?
We install and repair asphalt shingles, architectural shingles, and other residential roofing systems depending on your home’s needs.

7. Is the inspection really free?
Yes. Our inspections are completely free. If qualifying damage is found and an insurance claim is approved, we handle the repair or replacement.

8. Will this affect my insurance?
The inspection itself does not affect your insurance. A claim is only started if damage is found.

9. Will filing a claim raise my insurance rates?
No. Rate changes are usually based on market-wide factors.

10. What if my claim gets denied?
If a claim is denied, there’s no obligation to move forward. The inspector will explain what was found and why insurance made that decision.

11. What kinds of damage qualify?
The most common qualifying damage comes from wind and hail; things like missing shingles, lifted shingles, or impact marks.

12. How long does the whole process take?
From inspection to completion, it'll be finished within 1 - 2 weeks depending on insurance approval and material availability.
For the roof of the house itself, it's typically one day unless you have a a very large property.

13. What happens after the inspection?
If damage is found, the inspector explains the next steps and helps coordinate with insurance. If no damage is found, there’s nothing further needed.

14. So I’m locked in?
Only if insurance-eligible damage is found. If the roof checks out fine, there’s nothing to sign and no cost.

15. What if I want to choose another roofer?
That’s completely your choice before the inspection. The agreement only applies if storm damage is found and insurance moves forward.

16. What if my roof is old?
Age alone doesn’t disqualify a roof. If storm damage is present and insurance determines it’s eligible, age usually isn’t an issue.

17. What if only part of the roof is damaged?
Insurance determines the scope of repairs. In some cases it may be partial, and in others full replacement depending on damage and code requirements.

18. Is this going to cost me anything?
The inspection itself does not cost anything.
If storm damage is found and insurance approves the claim, the homeowner is only responsible for their deductible, which is set by their insurance policy.
If no damage is found, there’s no cost at all.

19. Will the insurance cover everything?
If insurance approves the claim, they typically cover most of the roof replacement cost. The homeowner is only responsible for their deductible, which is the portion set by their insurance policy.
Everything beyond that is handled through the insurance payout.

20. How much is my deductible?
That depends on your policy. Many deductibles are between 1% and 2% of the home’s insured value.
